In bici nel mondo Artico

(English description below)
Lots of love.

Hello! My name is Diego.
I am a 24 year old boy with a great passion for travel.
After some experiences between Switzerland, Australia (crossing the desert with my tent) and New Zealand, in October 2021 I decided to cycle with my bike around Europe.
Last winter, starting from central Italy, I reached the Lucomagno pass (almost 2000mt) in the snow, in the Swiss Alps, and then I descended through France to the Pyrenees chain where I passed December working in a mountain refuge in Andorra.
I then spent the first quarter of 2022 between Spain and Portugal, camping between beaches and cliffs on the Atlantic Ocean.
Then my ascent to Denmark began, with a detour between France and Belgium to the UK and Ireland with its fascinating cliffs.
At the beginning of last July I decided to take a ferry from the danish port of Hirtshals, first to the archipelago of the Faroe Islands and then to Iceland. There, after 2 months working as a cook in a village on the eastern fjords, with seals and whales swimming freely, I decided to hitchhike around the island, among volcanoes, glaciers and northern lights.
After another 3 days of sailing I returned to Denmark a month ago, and I started planning the next phase of this journey, which lasts for over a year.
The idea, now, is to reach the North Cape in the middle of winter, passing the Arctic Circle through fjords, and then cycling in the heart of Lapland, with temperatures that could drop below -30 degrees.
It is a special adventure, with snowy landscapes, in tundra, up to the northernmost point of continental Europe.
From there, I will begin my descent to Helsinki, through all of finnish taiga, continuing to Estonia, and all the baltic republics on this long, beautiful road of my life.
I will try, as best I can, to document everything I live in real time.
At the end, I will post a video about my equipment to combat low temperatures, surviving in the Arctic world.
Actually, after a first part in Sweden, I’m in Norway(in the south), after more then 15 thousands km done, and 22 countries visited.
Many thanks to everyone who will support this undertaking.
Lots of love.
