Relocation and housing for Ukrainians citizens

Hi, we are Angelica and Jacopo, we live in the province of Piacenza and we have decided to help Ukraine and the fragile people who are currently fleeing the war as we can.

We have a large house, surrounded by greenery, so we have decided to host up to four refugees including women and children. In researching support institutions, we met people who, with the help of the municipality of Castel San Giovanni and private donations, regularly travel to the Polish-Ukrainian border to bring supplies and bring back people in need.

Jacopo will leave on Thursday 17th from Piacenza with our seven-seater car, will bring the provisions donated by the citizens of Piacenza and will bring back five people, some of whom will be welcomed at our house.

I am a mother of four children and an educator therefore, as already communicated to the organizations that will welcome us upon arrival at the border, we would like to offer asylum especially to mothers and children who here will be able to find some serenity and the support of other children for a semblance of normality.

We do not yet know the economic conditions of the people we will host but we offer free housing and utility support, instead we seek help for the daily sustenance and fuel costs related to this trip and the following ones.

We have set a ceiling of five thousand euros, we will use what is needed for fuel, road expenses, food support for the people we will host and all that remains will be donated for the purchase of other raw materials for other trips that we are willing to make.

We know that not everyone is in a position to help but we hope that most people, like us, will do what they can with what they have.
