TheBunch (art festival)

Hi, I'm Laura Mello Rella, an Italian contemporary dancer, performer and producer originally coming from Biella, Italy. I studied dance in Centro Coreografico Opus Ballet (Firenze) and after I have been part of SUBLAB.PRO, a professional dance program in Budapest. Currently I am part of Ballet National de Marseille as a professional dancer. As part of being an emerging artist, I am looking for new ways to create a shared space where artists from all over the world can share their development and their artistic vision. My goal is to create a two days art festival, which will happen in my hometown Biella (IT), and within that to built a collaboration with emerging artists that I believe in and that I met throughout my journey. The festival will be a multidisciplinary event and it will bring together about 15 international artists coming from Italy, Israel, Hungary, France, Belgium and England, and they are going to cover disciplines as such as dance, music, theater, photography, visual art and documentary. The "Bunch" festival, for this first edition, wants to deal with the subject of "Unsaid" things in life, in society, in ourself and the concept will take form as dance performances, expositions, documentaries but also open discussions with the audience and an open after party.

Us, as a collective of artists, we all agreed to built this festival together in order to create new opportunities in the art field by ourselves and maybe being able to open new windows on the cultural scene of Biella.

This campaign is meaning a lot to us, because all the fundings are going to be used for the production part of the event, including for example flights, accommodation and food for the artists, dance floor, advertising, costumes, etc...
