UNA VITA MIGLIORE ALLA MIA FAMIGLIA

Mi presento mi chiamo Kimaki ho 35 anni e vivo in Italia da 5 anni perché mi sono innamorato e sposato con una ragazza italiana. Sono originario della Tanzania e sono di etnia Masai, un popolo che vive soprattutto di pastorizia e coltivazione di mais per poter avere quel poco per mangiare per vivere.

Per amore e per costruirmi un futuro e una vita migliore, dunque, ho lasciato la mia famiglia in Africa. Ho lasciato mio papà che ormai è anziano, mia mamma con due sorelle ancora a casa. A casa vive anche mia nonna e vicino vive la moglie di mio zio, fratello più giovane di mio papà (che purtroppo è morto due anni fa) e ha lasciato moglie con quattro bambini, due ancora piccoli.

In questi anni lavorando come stagionale in una azienda agricola e con l’aiuto di mia moglie abbiamo cercato di aiutare la mia famiglia. Con il mio lavoro sono riuscito a costruire per loro due piccole casette,così non vivono più nelle capanne di terra fango e paglia e ho comprato loro circa 20 pecore.

Ora però vorrei poterli comprare 3 mucche da latte (ogni mucca costa circa 1000 euro) cosicché il latte di 1 mucca lo possono usare loro per mangiare e il latte di altre 2 mucche possono venderlo e comprare cose da mangiare. Vorrei comprare ancora 10 pecore e circa 30/40 galline e 1 toro (circa 500 euro)

Inoltre, vorrei acquistare una macchina che macina il mais più il generatore che produce la corrente per farla funzionare più costruire un piccolo garage dove poter sistemare il tutto al riparo dalla pioggia (ci vogliono circa 3000 euro). Questa macchina permetterebbe loro di risparmiare e non portare più il mais a macinare e potrebbero essere loro a macinarlo anche per altre famiglie e guadagnare un po’ da questa attività. Vorrei comprare loro mais per avere da mangiare circa 10 persone per 1 anno.ci vogliono 1200 euro.

Come ultima cosa, ma molto importante vorrei comprare una grossa vasca per raccogliere acqua piovana nella stagione delle piogge perché purtroppo andare a prendere acqua per bere per cucinare per lavarsi ogni giorno in Africa è molto faticoso e i posti non sono vicini.

Altro problema che abbiamo in famiglia è come potete vedere dalla foto una delle mie sorelle ha un handicap lei è nata con un ritardo mentale e ha bisogno di cure costanti, medicine e per la sua malattia spesso viene ricoverata in ospedale, questo significa che ogni 3 mesi servono altri 300 euro per ricovero in ospedale e esami da pagare.

Aiutatemi a dare loro una vita e un futuro migliore ve lo chiedo con il cuore. Io ho trovato la mia felicità in Italia con mia moglie e ho la speranza di una vita migliore e di un futuro migliore. Però non riesco a essere felice e tranquillo se non riesco a dare anche alla mia famiglia in Africa una vita e un futuro migliore..penso sia normale questo ..per stare bene e essere felice devono star bene anche le persone vicino a te le persone a cui vuoi bene...

But now I would like to buy 3 dairy cows (each cow costs about 1000 euros) so that the milk of 1 cow can use them to eat and the milk of 2 other cows can sell it and buy things to eat. I would like to buy 10 more sheep and about 30/40 hens and 1 bull (about 500 euros)

In addition, I would like to buy a machine that grinds corn plus the generator that produces electricity to make it work plus build a small garage where you can put everything away from the rain (it takes about 3000 euros). This machine would allow them to save money and not bring more corn to grind and they could be the ones to grind it for other families and earn some money from this activity. I would buy them corn to have to eat about 10 people for 1 year.It takes 1200 euros.

Last but not least, I would like to buy a big tank to collect rainwater in the rainy season because unfortunately going for water to drink to cook for washing every day in Africa is very tiring and places are not close.

Another problem we have in the family is as you can see from the photo one of my sisters has a disability she was born with a mental retardation and needs constant care, medicine and for her illness she is often hospitalized, This means that every 3 months you need another 300 euros for hospitalization and exams to pay.

Help me to give them a life and a better future I ask with my heart. I found my happiness in Italy with my wife and I have the hope of a better life and a better future. But I can’t be happy and calm if I can’t give my family in Africa a better life and a better future.. I think this is normal .. to feel good and be happy must also be good people close to you the people you love...
