Help Save 3 Rescue Dogs

Hi there, my name is Victoria and my family and I would like your help to bring our 3 rescue dogs to their forever home in England.

In November 2018, we moved to Turkey. After being there only one week we found Bailey who was lying by the roundabout on a busy road and seemed to have given up on life. Bailey was estimated to be 3 months old. The vet said he had a fungal infection on his skin, parasites in his stomach and plastic lodged in his intestines. Bailey was given a prognosis of only 24 hours to live. Following further investigations it became apparent that Bailey was also suffering from rickets. Bailey survived the next 24 hours and with medication and lots of TLC, Bailey is now a happy and healthy 3 year old.

After 3 months of nursing Bailey, we came across Soldier. We found Soldier under a table in a restaurant and he appeared to be having a seizure and was covered in blood. We rushed him to the vet where we were told following an X-ray that he had been hit by a car with such force that his leg was broken in 5 places and part of his hip bone was down by his knee. Soldier required emergency surgery immediately and was rushed to an animal hospital on the other side of the city. His leg was pinned and screwed back together but unfortunately the pin came through his skin and the operation had to be repeated. Whilst Soldier has mostly recovered, he is still only able to walk on 3 legs.

Fast forward 5 months and we met Barney. Barney found us. We didn’t know much about Barney but made it our mission to find out. After a bit of digging we found out about Barney’s past and why he only had 3 legs. Barney was a street dog who, like Soldier, was ran over on a busy main road. We found out that someone paid for his amputation but returned to their own country and sadly Barney was alone on the street once more.

The purpose of this go fund me page is to raise the funds to have Bailey, Soldier & Barney transported over to the UK to their forever home with us. The funds raised will also help with their injections & vet bills in preparation for their journey to the UK. Please help us to help them have the life they deserve after facing so much horror and trauma on the streets. Our aim and wish is to have all 3 dogs living in England with us by June and every penny donated counts.
