“The Forgotten” Class of 2021 Senior Prom

The Pinkerton Academy Class of 2021 is hoping for your help to create a milestone event in their lives that they have now been denied for two years in a row. 

After preparing for their Junior Prom in 2020, and getting excited for their big turn in the spotlight, the pandemic hit, and understandably their prom was cancelled. 

New dates for prom came and went, cancelled again and again. Recently this class had to hear the news that they would not get a prom at all, ending their high school experience without this very important “rite of passage.” 


To have watched our children miss their entire senior year while sitting at home alone in front of a laptop has been gut wrenching. Missing friends, sports, parties, just eating lunch with a group of friends,  and now the prom, again. 

It was too much for a group of Moms trying to make this party come true for these seniors. They have worked so hard through all this. They deserve a party! 

We have not had opportunities for fund raisers as we would normally have done. Time is short and we have to ask for the community to help us create an event they can be proud to attend. 

I hope you will consider helping us pay for this event. Decorations, photographer, music, security all cost more than we can handle ourselves. 

It really does take a Village. Thank You for any amount of money you can donate to our cause. Any money left over will be given to a charity that we will let the seniors vote on at the Prom.
