Help Las Palmas Ranch after massive Beecher Fire

This fundraiser is intended to help the Barraza family after they experienced a horrendous fire the morning of Wednesday, May 24th.
Their entire barn was engulfed in flames as the family did everything they could in attempt to save the horses inside while firefighters were en route.
Unfortunately, strong winds only intensified the flames as the building quickly collapsed and horses became trapped inside. Sadly, many of the precious horses’ lives were lost. Horses they loved and cared for. Horses of which most were expectant mothers along with a mother and her colt who was born only 4 days prior.
The family is not only grieving the loss of their beloved horses, but also lost their supply of food for their animals and countless valuable machines they used daily on the farm. The barn also held many priceless memories as they held 3 quinceñeras and a wedding there.
Owner of Las Palmas Ranch, Librado Barraza is the first person to offer help to others, always making sure others are taken care of before himself. The time has come for us to help him and his family in their time of need. Nothing can repair the damage this horrible fire has done to their hearts, but we can help make it just a bit easier as the families does their best to navigate what is to come. The reality is that they face hundreds of thousands of dollars in losses while having many other horses to care for, including horses that were injured in the fire and now require special care to hopefully be nursed back to health.
He and his family are very thankful for members of the community that donated hundreds of hay bales and horse feed to them so they could care for and feed the rest of their horses.
They are also immensely grateful for the many different fire departments and other personnel who came together to put out the fire after hours and hours of fighting it.
