Support Kenny & family through their nightmare

On 8th September, Kenny Collins' world stopped and his life hung in a balance. That morning, he collapsed. By evening, his worst nightmares had come true when he was diagnosed with a 3cm mass on his brain. The next morning he had an emergency operation to drain the life-threatening fluid from his head, followed by major surgery to reduce the size of the tumour.

Since September, Kenny has undergone many emergency and planned operations, battled countless serious infections and has been in critical care several times. 

After a period of more stability, Kenny has recently moved to rehab to undergo intensive support to improve his strength and communication. 

Kenny is a talented musician, previously the frontman of Scottish rock band, Logan. He had toured the world with the band, before settling with his wife Lynsey and having their two children, Ella and Lewis. 

His second successful career has been as a Teacher and a Head Teacher, in a school for the most vulnerable young people in the UK. Weeks before his diagnosis, Kenny prepared to move to a new education and care service, where he landed his dream job to further improve outcomes for children and young people in the care system. Unfortunately he has not been able to start this role.

We have started this fundraiser to help support the family in any way we can during this horrific time.
