Eastern Kentucky Flood Fund

My name is Jennifer and I was born and raised in Southeastern Kentucky. My roots are planted deep in the mountains and the people of Hazard and Hindman mean the world to me. Kentucky has experienced historic flooding over the last 24 hours and entire towns are devastated. My sister and her family had to evacuate their home in the middle of the night to get to safety. So many people will experience a total loss of property- there are 20,000 people without power, water, and several that are currently missing. Relief efforts are underway and body recovery has already begun. I ask that you consider donating to this relief effort so funding, supplies and services can be delivered to the people of Southeastern Kentucky. This fund will be directed to the relief efforts in Knott and Perry Counties to families who receive support from the following: The City of Hindman and The City of Hazard and Hazard First Baptist Church and Montgomery Baptist Church. I will provide updates and details of the fund distributions and relief efforts as they are directed to the aforementioned groups.
