Help Veteran Robert Guidry Rebuild His Business

Renaissance Entrepreneurship Center is fundraising for our client Robert Guidry. Robert is a Black Vietnam-era trained and classified who served the United States with honor during the Vietnam war. Robert has been dedicated to the community he lives in, by being a certified VA volunteer Barber at the Palo Alto Veterans administration he was able to provide free haircuts to those members. Robert was severely impacted by the Covid-19 Pandemic where he was unable to work due to the shutdowns in place. Robert then decided to pivot his brick-and-mortar location to a mobile barbershop, where he says, "My Masterclass Mobile Barbershop will be able to go the locations of my clients, with no hassle to them." Robert also shares that he was able to purchase a mobile van, having it retrofitted to accommodate veterans that need wheelchair and walker accessibility. In order to get Robert up and running, he is in need of some start-up capital. Robert's goal is $750 and those funds would go towards supplies, tools, and licenses to begin operating as soon as possible. Robert has been a barber for over 30 years. He was also affected by the 2008 recession where he lost everything, including his home. He was able to be in a program, HVRP (homeless veteran recovery program) where he was able once again to rebuild.
