Antenna x NYIC Dignity Bags Fundraiser

Over the past several months, it is estimated that between 7,000 to 10,000 asylum seekers have come to New York City. These asylum seekers have been separated from their families in Texas and shipped off to NYC or D.C. left simply on the streets, without food, money, or identity documents. We understand that the State of Texas will continue sending asylum seekers to New York City for the foreseeable future, as he has raised enough funding for 900 buses and has sent ~200 to date.

One of the many non-profit groups that have been providing help on the ground is The New York Immigration Coalition (NYIC). NYIC is an umbrella policy & advocacy organization that represents over 200 immigrant and refugee rights groups throughout New York for the past 35 years. They have launched the Welcoming New York Campaign, a campaign to ensure that every asylum seeker who makes it to New York has the services, shelter, and care that they want to not only survive but thrive.

Antenna Group is partnering with the New York Immigrant Coalition (NYIC) to raise money for care packages for asylum seekers, to include toothpaste, toothbrushes, soap, deoderant, shampoo, socks, food and snacks, amongst other items. Special packages will also be prepared to support women and unaccompanied minors. Once our fundraising goal has been met, Antenna will launch a service day to put together food and care packages and help distribute them in partnership with NYIC.
