To the Rescue!

Fit to Be Groomed is excited to announce that it has paired up with New Life for Paws (NLFP) for a fundraiser this October. New Life for Paws Foundation is the organization that Greg and I became flight volunteers for in May 2021. NLFP is known for their hard work and dedication to rescue as many stray, neglected, and abandoned Aruban dogs as possible while also advocating for spay/neuter programs to reduce the overwhelming amount of street dogs on the island.

In May 2021, our group was able to give ‘freedom flights’ to 4 cunucu sibling puppies on our flight back to Boston. They were originally Turner, Tripp, True and Tatum. Tatum was the only girl and so shortly after we handed her off to her foster mom we were on our way to pick her up and bring home our Delilah dilly dawg.

While visiting Aruba, we met many stray dogs, and in addition to them being friendly, smart and super sweet, they are unfortunately battling tick and flea infestations. During an upcoming trip in October, Fit To be Groomed, along with NLFP, is planning to seek out as many strays as possible and give them 8 months of relief by providing them with a Seresto collar.

Fit to Be Groomed will match every Seresto collar purchased with donations received.
