Lost Everything in NJ Fire

During the early morning hours of January 13th, our good friend and colleague, Jamie Benckert, along with her daughter, Samantha, and boyfriend, Jorge, escaped a fast-moving fire that jumped from their neighbor’s house to theirs. Devastatingly, they lost everything – their new home, their beloved cats, their car, and all their personal belongings. Now, all they are left with are the clothes on their back.

For anyone that knows Jamie, knows she is always giving herself to others and is the first in line for every volunteer opportunity. Even after experiencing such a tremendous loss, Jamie is not the type of person that would ask for help, but many people have reached out wanting to return her generosity and show their support. If you are able and would like to contribute, we know it would be so greatly appreciated during this difficult time.
