Hola, me llamo Janet Julià Piña. Estoy recaudando fondos para mi madre Alice Piña.
Hace meses empezó a sentir dolor y dificultad a la hora de comer y beber. Llevaba meses realizándose pruebas, pero dado al dolor inaguantable fue ingresada hace tres semanas, donde le diagnosticaron “Estenosis Pilorico”.
Durante estas últimas semanas ha pasado por varios procedimientos que le han causado mucho dolor. Le han tenido que vaciar el estómago por un tubo a través de la nariz varías veces, 3 endoscopias y está siendo alimentada por un catéter en la Arteria del cuello, dado que la parte final de su estómago está cerrada y no puede ingerir alimentos de manera normal. En estas semanas ha perdido mucho peso, unos 5kgs(10lbs) aproximadamente y ha estado muy débil.
La biopsia que le realizaron durante su ingreso, nos ha mostrado unos resultados inesperados; Células cancerígenas en la zona del estómago. Los médicos están estudiando varias opciones, entre ellas; extirpar todo el estómago y unir su esófago con los intestinos. Nos han informado que no saben el procedimiento exacto hasta el momento de la operación y depende de lo que se encuentren una vez en quirófano. Estamos a la espera de los resultados de la última prueba para confirmar que las células cancerígenas no se hayan expandido en otras zonas.
Alice es Masajista Terapéutica, y a causa de los fuertes dolores no pudo ejercer de tal en las últimas semanas dado del gran esfuerzo que está profesión requiere. Después de las operaciones los médicos nos han dicho que requerirá de varios meses de recuperación. Actualmente yo estoy trabajando y al cuidado de mi hijo de dos años por lo cual lo que yo pueda aportar no será suficiente para cubrir sus gastos y ella no recibe nada por parte del estado.
Entre ellos: Gastos tratamientos, alimentación especial post operación, transporte al hospital, cuidados en el hogar, gastos vitales etc.

After the operations the doctors have told us that she has to go through several months of recovery. I am currently working and taking care of my two-year-old son, so what I can contribute will not be enough to cover her expenses and she does not receive anything from the state.
