Dear Friends and Fellow Sharks Fans,

As the thrill of the 2022 Sharks season begins to fade, we can now reflect back on a year of tremendous accomplishment for the team, both on and off the field. Every single person in our organization played a part in this unforgettable season. We could not be prouder or more humble to be associated with this group of players and their families, the coaches, our tremendous fan base, our game-day staff, host families, and sponsors.

Looking ahead to 2023, we remain steadfastly committed to our goal of promoting the game of baseball while providing safe and affordable family entertainment for the entire community. We respectfully ask for your help in realizing our goal by donating to our GoFundMe campaign. Your contribution will make a difference and help us attain our goal – not to mention help lay the groundwork for defending this season’s NECBL Championship!

Among the early tasks on our punch list -- all the play coupled with one of the driest summers on record leaves us in need of replacing the infield grass. To be ready for next spring’s Martha’s Vineyard High School baseball season, we must complete this project by early October. The cost of this project alone exceeds $50,000! Other projects include repairing/replacing some of the bleachers, repairs to the Grandstand, and an additional concession stand to serve fans faster and with more variety.

As we dig our feet in more, the list will no doubt grow. We welcome your input! The roster is already penciled with 2022 players, and we couldn’t be more excited to see what the 2023 season has in store. We will be continuing our scholarship program started this season, our players will be out in the community as soon as they hit the ground early next June, and we are always on the lookout for new ways to serve the community.
