Hola soy Emmanuel y necesito vuestra ayuda para poder caminar!!! Tengo ahora 4 años y, como dicen mis padres de acogida en España...¡mi historia de supervivencia y superación son dignas de contar! Al nacer me dejaron abandonado en un hospital en Etiopía donde pasé largo tiempo solo y con graves problemas de salud.

Gracias a los médicos y a unas misioneras pude salvar mi vida pero me quedaron importantes secuelas. Aparte de un ojo vago, y disfunción de mi brazo y mano derechos por problemas al nacer, lo que más preocupa es la grave displasia de cadera y acortamiento de mi pierna izquierda que me impiden caminar. ¡Pero he empezado rehabilitación especializada y estoy mejorando mucho! ¡Deseo tanto poder andar!.

Pero necesito mucha ayuda y por eso hago la rehabilitación en el Intituto Charbel, una maravillosa clínica especializada de Jerez en la que me ayudan mucho, pero que nos cuesta 456 € al mes, y ese es un gasto enorme para mi familia de acogida que no pueden seguir afrontando solos.

¿Me ayudas a que pueda tener rehabilitación durante un año?. ¡Cualquier aportación por pequeña que sea será de gran ayuda!

Hi! I'm Emmanuel and I need your help to be able to walk!!! I am now 4 years old, and as my foster parents in Spain say, “my story of survival and overcoming is worth telling”!

At birth I was abandoned in a hospital in Ethiopia where I spent a long time alone and with serious health problems.

Thanks to the doctors and some missionaries I was able to save my life, but I had significant aftereffects. Apart from a lazy eye, and dysfunction of my right arm and hand due to problems at birth, what worries me the most is the severe hip dysplasia and shortening of my left leg that prevent me from walking. But I have started specialized rehabilitation and I am improving a lot! I wish I could walk so much!

But I need a lot of help and that's why I do my rehabilitation at the Intituto Charbel, a wonderful specialized clinic in Jerez where they help me a lot, but it costs us €456 a month, and that's a huge expense for my host family who don't think they can continue to manage the cost alone.

Can you help me so that I can have rehabilitation for a year? Any contribution no matter how small will be of great help!
