In Loving memory of Mabel Martinez

Hello, on behalf of the Martinez/Mercado family, we are doing a fundraiser in honor of Mabel Martinez memorial.

Mabel is a 56 years old loving mother and grandmother who touched the lives of many.

On April 9, 2022, Mabel was in her home doing what she loves to do the most, sewing and taking of her family. Tragically, On Saturday at 1:15 pm, the Waterbury Police Department officer responded to the area of Walnut Street and orange st on the complaint of shots fired. Upon further investigation, the officer realized a stray bullet had hit Mabel, and she succumbed to her injuries. 

Mabel was a devoted wife who adored her family and grandson, and, unfortunately, she would never have the opportunity to see him become a young man. Mabel was a compassionate and lovely human being who did not deserve to die this way.

 

The Martinez/Mercado family has suffered a significant loss and could use the community's support to assist in paying for her funeral expenses. Please donate to this lovely family in their time of need. Keep this family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
