Ayuda a Teo a salir adelante

¡NECESITO AYUDA URGENTE!

 

Soy Teo y antes vivía en las calles de Láchar (Granada). Y digo "antes", porque anoche las cosas cambiaron de repente: un coche me atropelló.

 

El conductor no se paró a ayudarme y me dejó allí tirado (quizás pensó que ya estaba muerto, quizás le daba igual). Una persona me encontró malherido y no quiso abandonarme. Llamó a los voluntarios de la Asociación AVBA, que me llevaron corriendo al veterinario en el que estoy ingresado ahora. También me bautizaron como Teo, porque me han prometido que no voy a vivir en la calle nunca más y todos los gatos caseros tienen un nombre. Pero antes de nada, necesito que me ayudes, porque la verdad es que estoy en muy mal estado.

 

Hago todo lo que puedo por salir adelante. El veterinario dice que soy muy fuerte y valiente, pero todavía no estoy fuera de peligro. Tengo una fractura en el paladar y quizás en la mandíbula; he perdido un ojo, además de mucha sangre. Dicen que puede que pierda también el otro ojo, pero mantengo la esperanza: sé que hay gatos ciegos que viven muy felices si los adopta la familia adecuada... De momento me han estabilizado, pero necesito tratamiento urgentemente.

 

Me rescataron los voluntarios de la Asociación de Voluntarios por el Bienestar Animal de Láchar y Peñuelas, pero, como solo llevan unas semanas en funcionamiento, tienen pocos recursos y necesitan con urgencia que otras personas les echen una mano.

 

DONA LO QUE PUEDAS, POR FAVOR. Aunque sea una cantidad muy pequeña, será una ayuda muy grande para pagar los gastos del veterinario: esos cuidados son la única esperanza que tengo.

PLEASE HELP ME, IT’S AN EMERGENCY!

 

My name is Teo and I used to live in the streets of Láchar, near Granada. I say ‘used to’, because last night that suddenly changed: I was hit by a car.

 

Instead of stopping to help, the driver left me to die but someone else found me, and they didn’t abandon me. That person got in touch with volunteers from the "Asociación AVBA", who rushed me to the vet where I’m being treated, and it was them who gave me a name, because they’ve promised to find me a home – and if you have a home, of course you need a name. But first I need your help, because I’m in a very bad way.

 

I’m fighting to survive and the vet says I’m incredibly brave and strong, but I'm not out of danger yet. I have a broken palate - possible also my jaw - and have lost one eye, as well as a lot of blood. I may still lose the other eye, but blind cats can enjoy happy lives in the right home, so I still have hope… For now, my condition is stable, but I need urgent treatment.

 

I was rescued by the Asociación de Voluntarios por el Bienestar Animal de Láchar y Peñuelas but, having been founded just a few weeks ago, they have limited resources and desperately need your help.

 

Whatever you can afford, PLEASE DONATE SOMETHING to help with the vet’s bills, because without treatment I won’t survive.
