Hi everyone, my name is Bianca Soricello. I am the 20-year-old daughter of 55-year-old Lisa Failla. I am a student going into my last year of college and looking for help in order to save my mother’s life. My mother was diagnosed with chronic kidney disease when I was about five years old. We never would’ve thought this disease would bring us here today. But here we are. My mother has approximately spent the last decade raising my sister and me independently. She has given us everything and more, and my sister and I would both agree that we would not be here today if it were not for her. My mother’s kidney disease has rapidly jumped from stage a 4 to a 4.6 and rising. She is now looking at dialysis and kidney transplant surgery. In order to avoid dialysis and the decline in her way of life, we are looking for potential live donors to give her a second chance at life. This recent news has turned all our worlds upside down in so many ways, not just physically or financially. My sister and I, as well as my aunt, will all be getting tested with the hopes that we could be potential matches in order to save her. It only feels natural to prepare for the worst, the idea that none of us are. Therefore, I decided to bring this news to social platforms. Regardless of how much of a private family we have always been. Anyone who would be willing to help in any way would be beyond appreciated. Thank you so much for taking the time to read this.
